The Chonky Scarf scarf is worked up in weight 6 super chunky yarn on 8mm needles (or needles needed to obtain gauge). There is a small garter stitch edging around the sides of the scarf to reduce the natural curl. The main body is a simple 6 row repeating pattern. Tassels can be added to the short sides for a bit of pizazz, but this is completely optional. 
This scarf can be personalized to a length that suits you, and only requires up to 4 Balls of The recommended yarn, depending on how long you want your scarf and tassels!
This scarf is a perfect introduction to cables for beginner knitters but also a fun pattern for all knitting levels.
